So\, grab your friends\, your favorite poems\, and join us for a night filled with heartfelt expressions and poetic vibes. 🎤📜 \nSpecial Guest\nWe are pleased to share that Oleisia Johnson\, recipient of the 2025 Aliki Perroti and Seth Frank Most Promising Young Poet Award\, will be joining us for the March Open Mic. Ms. Johnson’s award‑winning poem\, The Weight She Gives Me\, is a beautiful work that explores themes of identity and belonging. \nOleisia is a Computer Science major at Spelman College\, where she blends her interests in design\, community\, and creative storytelling. We look forward to welcoming her into the GPS community. \nThe event will take place on Zoom and saved to YouTube. Be aware that your poem that is read during the Open Mic will be broadcast on our YouTube channel. \nLet your metaphors bloom and your emotions shine through the power of poetry.
