You have some homework to bring with you to the Open Mic. \nExample: \nUpon the shore where waves embrace\, \nI trace the stars upon your face. \nThe night sighs low\, the world so still\, \nYour love bends time to match my will.\n\nThe roses lean to touch the dew\, \nAs I am drawn to dance with you. \nYour laughter rings\, a melody\, \nA song that sets my spirit free.\n\nWith every breath\, I find my place\, \nA home within your warm embrace. \nNo dream could match the love we weave\, \nForever ours—just close your eyes\, believe.\n\nNo force could break\, no tide erase\,The love we’ve found in this embrace.\n  \nThis event is all about celebrating the beauty of poetry in all its forms.
