By hosting the annual poetry slam competition, BlackBerry Peach successfully brought in new poets skilled in performance, while encouraging our existing members, primarily page poets, to enhance how they give voice to their poems. Competitors from across the country participated, with the event limited to 44 of the top spoken word poets.
The BlackBerry Peach National Poetry Slam took place in collaboration with the National Federation of State Poetry Societies (NFSPS) Annual Convention. Attendees had the opportunity to register for both convention and slam events, creating an enriching experience for all.
From June 5-8, 2024, at the DoubleTree Hilton in Roswell, Georgia, the event unfolded as part of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies (NFSPS) Annual Convention (June 5-10, 2024).
